Juvederm VS Restylane

What is the difference between Juvederm and Restylane?

One of the differences between these two dermal fillers is that the consistency of Juvederm is more like a soft gel, in comparison to Restylane which is firmer.

Another difference between Juvederm and Restylane is a patient may experience slightly less puffiness and swelling after undergoing Restylane injections. Significant swelling may be experienced, especially in the lip area, upon receiving Juvederm injections. Differences also exist in the amount of time a person can expect their results to last following these treatments. The results achieved from Juvederm and Restylane will each last between four to six months, however, if a person decides on an alternative form of Juvederm called Juvederm Ultra Plus, their results will last between six to nine months.
