It is a dual wavelength laser that combines the 755 nm Alexandrite laser with an equally powerful 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. This Laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle which absorbs the heat and thus destroys the hair follicle. This type of instrument has a patented Dynamic Cooling Device which prepares the skin for treatment by spraying the upper layer of skin with a cooling burst of cryogen, before the laser pulse. This helps ensure that the treatments are as comfortable and less painful as possible.
